Davide Picci is an award-winning Italian classical guitarist whose international career spans Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Appearing as both a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed in major festivals and concert series across Europe, China, and Mexico, establishing himself as a distinctive voice among the emerging generation of classical guitarists.

His artistry has been recognized through numerous prizes at national and international competitions. Among his most significant distinctions are First Prize and the Audience Prize at the XXIV Ville d'Antony International Guitar Competition, as well as First Prizes at the Festival Internazionale dell'Adriatico, the Erik Satie International Music Competition, and the International Guitar Competition of Montenegro.

He has also received top prizes at the International Guitar Competition "Città di Gargnano", Italia Musica Giovane Grand Prix, Moisycos International Guitar Competition, Corde d'Autunno International Guitar Competition, and the Guitarstudio Foundation International Guitar Competition.

He earned his Master's degree in Music Performance cum laude from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where he studied with Antigoni Goni, following advanced studies completed with highest honors at the "Niccolò Piccinni" Conservatory in Bari under Gabriella Lubello.

He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Arizona State University as a Fulbright Scholar, studying with Martha Masters while continuing his international performing career.

In 2023, Picci received a grant from the Horlait Dapsens Foundation in Belgium in support of his independent artistic projects. His artistic formation also includes studies in guitar and chamber music with Oscar Ghiglia at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena, where he was awarded a Diploma of Merit and a scholarship.

Through performance, research, and artistic collaboration, Picci continues to explore the dialogue between the classical guitar tradition and contemporary musical expression, approaching the repertoire with technical refinement, musical depth, and an evolving international perspective.
